Learn & find your problem

• Kickoff & mindset — team-building and a kickoff that sets the bar; start a weekly builder journal.
• Find real problems — spot and clearly describe real problems, learn to interview people and write good surveys; pick a field and start interviews.
• Work & build with AI — when to use AI (and when not) and how to get good results; build an AI email assistant that writes in your own voice; then learn to build software by clearly describing what you want (with a guest builder).
• Build & publish a small app — start a small app of your own, avoid common AI-coding mistakes, then publish it online so anyone can use it.
• How apps work + ship safely — explain how your app works, get feedback, learn the basic building blocks, and how to check an app is safe before publishing.
• Choose your problem & research — present what you've learned, choose and clearly define the problem you'll tackle, then research the market and define the user and their needs.
• Design & mock up — turn user needs into a prioritized feature list and a clickable mockup of your solution.
• Public presentation — a public event (open-house friendly) where students present their problem, research, and next-semester plan.
• Meet your mentor — each student is paired with a mentor for their project, and finalizes their MVP (with optional online help sessions).

Build, iterate & launch

• Build the real product alongside your mentor, going well beyond the MVP.
• Put it in front of real users and gather honest feedback.
• Iterate and improve week over week toward your end goals.
• Launch your project publicly — something real people actually use.

Who you build with

A main instructor leads the cohort week to week. In the build phase each student is paired with a mentor — a successful founder who has built and run real companies — for focused, project-specific guidance, plus optional online help sessions. The program runs on purpose-built tooling made for Builders Club.
